POLICIES

Policies are in place to ensure a seamless experience for both client and artist. By booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Cancellations & Adjustments:

Your booking is a reserved date held exclusively for you. Once your retainer is received (and contract signed for bridal services), I turn away all other inquiries for that date. Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable after 24 hours of booking.

  • Bridal Services:
    • Once the bridal contract is signed, timelines and headcounts are considered final. Any adjustments after signing will incur an administrative charge in addition to the full service price for added services. If someone drops from the contract, the administrative charge is still required.
    • Services not listed in your contract, invoice, or timeline are not guaranteed. If time allows on the wedding day, additional services may be offered at the artist’s discretion. These will be billed at the current rate and must be paid in full, along with the administrative charge, prior to the service being rendered. An additional artist will not be added to accommodate services that were not originally contracted.
    • Final balances are due one week prior to the wedding date. Rescheduling your wedding or event is at the artist’s discretion. If approved, a new contract will be issued at current rates and require a new retainer.
    • In the rare event I am unable to service your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, I will provide a replacement artist. If no replacement can be secured, all payments (minus the retainer) will be refunded within 30 days.
    • If you are unsatisfied with your preview (trial) appointment and we cannot reach resolution after proper communication or a follow-up trial, I may cancel your contract. In this case, no further payments will be due, though the retainer will be forfeited.

  • Non-Bridal Services:
    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will be subject to a charge of 50% of the service total.
    • Cancellations made within 24 hours will require payment in full.

    Timing:

For bridal bookings, service durations are outlined and confirmed in the timeline. The approved timeline must be followed to ensure quality services are provided to each client.

  • Access & Venue Restrictions: If your venue limits access to the bridal suite, this must be communicated and planned for prior to booking. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to time restrictions, late arrivals, or members of the bridal party who are not ready at their scheduled time.

  • Large Parties & Limited Time: If a bridal party is large but the time allotted is shortened, additional costs will apply to accommodate the compressed schedule. This may be reflected as an adjusted rate of $25 per service or a 20% gratuity added to the contract.

  • Artist Set-Up & Clean-Up: Each artist requires 15–30 minutes to unload and set up prior to starting services, as well as 15–30 minutes to clean up and load out at the end of the booking. Please ensure your venue timeline allows for this.

  • Current Time Guidelines

    • Bride: Makeup — 2 hours

    • Bridal Party: Makeup — 1 hour

Travel:

Travel expenses are the responsibility of the client and will be included in the final invoice.

  • Parking fees at the venue or getting-ready location are considered part of travel costs and must be covered by the client.

  • Travel is billed on a per-mile round trip basis. For destinations requiring airfare or overnight accommodations, all travel-related expenses will be added to the overall cost.

  • Specific travel rates and expenses will be outlined in the individual contract and invoice.

Liability & Disclosures:

It is understood and agreed that Brittany Fishman, and any artists working under the Brittany Fishman umbrella, shall not be held responsible to the client or any associated parties for errors in judgment, omissions made in good faith, or actions reasonably believed to be within the scope of this agreement. The client further agrees not to hold Brittany Fishman or her team liable for property damages, unforeseen circumstances, or wedding day complications that may result in monetary loss.

  • Allergies: Clients are responsible for informing the artist of any known allergies or sensitivities prior to services.

  • Artistic Style: Brittany specializes in a refined soft glam aesthetic. If a full glam or heavily stylized look is desired, she may not be the right artist for your event.

  • Pricing: Rates are variable and subject to change until secured by contract and retainer.

Non-Defamation & Conduct:

By booking services, the client, all parties receiving services, and any agents acting on behalf of the client agree not to make, publish, or endorse any defamatory comments, reviews, or statements —whether written, oral, or electronic—regarding Brittany Fishman or any artist working under her umbrella, as defined by law.

All clients and associated parties are expected to maintain respectful conduct. Any form of verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate termination of services without refund. Payments made for services already rendered are non-refundable. Should a concern arise, the client must notify the artist immediately to allow for a resolution.

Payment:

  • Bridal Services: Final payment is due one week prior to your wedding or event date. A late fee of % per day will be applied after 24 hours of non-payment.

  • General Services: Payment is due immediately upon completion. A late fee of 15% per day will be applied until the balance is paid in full.

  • Accepted Payments: Venmo and Zelle only. Cash payments may be accepted on the day of service, but this must be agreed upon in advance and confirmed prior to the payment due date. Credit cards and personal checks are not accepted.

  • Retainer: All appointments require a non-refundable, non-transferable retainer. Bookings are not considered confirmed until the retainer has been received. For bridal services, both a signed contract and retainer are required to secure the date.
